129 ASKEW ROAD · LONDON W1201 / HOW IT ALL BEGAN
From Hanoi's
streets to your
table.
Nearly thirty years ago, our chef left the familiar streets of Hanoi for West London. In his suitcase were more than recipes — there were family memories, patient broths, and the little rituals that make a meal feel like home.
Growing up, the kitchen was where people gathered. Food was passed from one generation to the next, not just through written instructions, but through tasting, sharing, and cooking together.
PHO36 is that story carried forward: the balance of northern Vietnamese cooking, the vibrant herbs of the south, and a seat at the table for everyone.
